The Guerin family has been carefully restoring the historic vineyard of Château de Salornay, which was devastated by the phylloxera crisis at the end of the 19th century. Today, the vineyard spans nine exclusively organic hectares, benefiting from a rested terroir ready to reveal all its richness. Since 2018, it has produced a fresh and elegant white wine typical of the Mâconnais, available for tasting and purchase.
Wine in the veins
The vineyard of Château de Salornay is uniquely located on a single nine-hectare plot: the Clos du Mont Grenier. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are cultivated here in compliance with the standards of organic farming, preserving the richness of the soil and revealing the terroir’s character.
In both the vines and the cellar, Julien Guerin, oenologist, allows time and nature to take their course, choosing to minimize human intervention. After 13 years in a major Swiss winery, he happily returns to his native land to carry on the family legacy.

In 2018, the vineyard of Château de Salornay produced an exceptional vintage, the first in nearly a century. Since then, each vintage has showcased its uniqueness while staying true to its DNA: beautiful freshness, intense fruitiness, and great delicacy. This organic white wine delights epicureans throughout the meal, from aperitif to dessert.
